The Flint River regular dog food is available in both kibble and nugget size. The kibble is irregular and smaller in size, the nugget size is uniformly about 5/8" per piece. The price is the same for either size.

The Flint River Ranch chicken meal and other meat sources do not contain poultry by-products or other by-products like chicken feet, chicken heads, duck heads, beaks, feathers, fish heads, hides, hoofs, and intestines. Because the kibble is high density, you feed 20-25% less than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers, so you'll notice a lower stool volume and less clean up.

The chicken and lamb formula is made with rice and wheat. Ordinary dog foods are made with corn. Rice and wheat and easier to digest than corn; therefore easier on your dog's system. Various selected parts of the wheat berry are used along with whole wheat flour as it is one of the most nutritionally balanced grains. A combination of grains provides better nutrition than one grain.

There is no sprayed on additive or greasy coating to make the taste acceptable. Ordinary dog foods are extruded under high pressure and high temperature and then sprayed with fat and other products in order to encourage dogs to eat.

Feed your dog once per day. Have plenty of fresh water available. Food requirements vary depending on climate, breed of dog, and exercise activity. Following are the suggested amounts. Feed an amount that will maintain your dog's weight.

It will take time for your dog to adjust to the super premium quality. A sudden change in any food source may be a shock to your dog's digestive system. You may notice loose stool. If so, reduce the amount being fed until your dog adjusts.
